Auth0 is deeply saddened for Australia, our Australian employees, and the crisis the country is facing. The country's people, bushland, and wildlife are all massively affected by the devastating bushfires. The Auth0 Gives team (our internal philanthropic initiative) is doing what we can to help and is now extending our donation matching program beyond our employees to the broader Auth0 community.
Auth0 Gives has an existing program for employees that matches up to $100 per employee per year for charitable giving. Many Auth0 employees are using their annual match to contribute to providing relief to communities impacted by this natural disaster. On top of the existing match, Auth0 is offering an additional $1 for $1 match (up to a total contribution of $10,000 USD by Auth0) for donations made to the NSW Rural Fire Service during January. Help us reach the goal of a full $10K match by making a donation to NSW RFS by January 31st. Here are details on making your contribution and how to qualify for the Auth0 match:

About NSW Rural Fire Service
The NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) is the lead combat agency for bush fires in NSW. For over 100 years they have been a significant part of the history and landscape of NSW. Working closely with other agencies they respond to a range of emergencies including structure fires, motor vehicle accidents and storms that occur within rural fire districts.
The NSW RFS is widely acknowledged as the largest volunteer fire service in the world. Members of the NSW RFS are trained to very high levels of competence to ensure they know what to do in an emergency.
The Service aims to reduce the likelihood and consequence of fires occurring. This involves comprehensive risk management programs to reduce bushfire hazards, reduce fire ignitions and the development of regulations for bush fire-prone areas. Please join us in helping support NSW RFS during this crisis.
